EduCHI 2023

Registration

We invite all members of the HCI education community to join us – in-person or virtually – at EduCHI 2023.

If your paper was not accepted, or even if you didn’t submit a paper at all, we invite you to attend the symposium and share your perspective.

Please note that EduCHI 2023 registration must be completed as part of the general CHI 2023 conference registration. See below for information on how to attend the symposium.

Cost

The cost to attend EduCHI 2023 is $238.00 USD ($200 + 19% VAT).

Note that due to the costs of hosting the in-person portion of the event, the registration fee is the same for both virtual and in-person attendees.

Instructions

  1. Register for EduCHI 2023 Only
  2. Register for EduCHI 2023 + at least one day of CHI 2023

Scenario 1: Register for EduCHI 2022 Only

  1. Visit the CHI 2023 Registration page
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Workshop/Symposia Only to begin your registration.
  3. Register – fill in all the required information needed.
  4. Select either Virtual or In-Person registration (the cost is the same for both options).
  5. On the Courses and Workshops page – select S02: EduCHI 2023: 5th Annual Symposium on HCI Education from the list and enter the invitation code AccessS02 at the bottom of the page.
  6. Continue through registration to complete by making a payment and clicking “Submit”. A confirmation email is automatically generated.

Scenario 2: Register for EduCHI 2023 + at least one day of CHI 2023

To add EduCHI during CHI 2023 Registration:

  1. Visit the CHI 2023 Registration page
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the appropriate category button (Member or Non-Member) to begin your registration.
  3. Register – fill in all the required information needed.
  4. Proceed to the Optional Items page – select S02: EduCHI 2023: 5th Annual Symposium on HCI Education from the list and enter the invitation code AccessS02 at the bottom of the page.
  5. Continue through registration to complete by making a payment and clicking “Submit”. A confirmation email is automatically generated.

To add EduCHI to your existing CHI 2023 registration:

  1. Visit the CHI 2023 Registration page
  2. Scroll toward the bottom and click on the “Already Registered” option. Do not begin a new registration if you are already registered for CHI 2023.
  3. Enter your email address and confirmation code – found in your confirmation email.
  4. Click “Login” to proceed, then select “Modify Registration” towards the bottom of the next page.
  5. Proceed through your registration (“Next” button until the Optional Items page) to add the desired workshop.
  6. Select S02: EduCHI 2023: 5th Annual Symposium on HCI Education from the list, enter the invitation code AccessS02 and click “Next” at the bottom.
  7. Follow through to complete the addition by making a payment and clicking “Submit”.
